To manage all Wholesale buying and merchandising activities to meet sales and margin plans.

Responsiblities:

  • Lead, manage and develop the Wholesale merchandising team to achieve the functions commercial and strategic goals.
  • Conduct weekly team reviews.
  • Set annual objectives and conduct mid year and end of year performance appraisals.
  • Set individual development plans and conduct regular individual development reviews.
  • Imbue a culture of coaching and high performance management.
  • Produce accurate Wholesale sales reports and forecasts by brand, category and account.
  • Weekly sales flash to Finance.
  • Weekly National Account sell through reviews.
  • Monthly order book reviews.
  • Seasonal showroom and trade show order book reviews.
  • Annual budgets.
  • Partner the Group Merchandising team to accurately forecast Wholesale’s stock requirements.
  • Produce and circulate weekly Wholesale Over Sold and Left to Sell inventory lists to Sales Management.
  • Partner the Group Merchandising team to support the development of Radley + Co.’s range architectures.
  • Analyse Wholesale’s sell in and sell through data of continuity styles to support the collective agreement on range ‘run- ons’
  • Analyse Wholesale’s sell in and sell through data of seasonal styles to support the collective agreement on the selection, pricing, phasing and segmentation of new season collections.
  • Attend range selection meetings, assisting the finalisation of range selections for Wholesale.
  • Lead the process of briefing the Sales and Marketing teams on the launch of new season collections.
  • Produce sales range notes for each brand and category informing the teams of range styling, colour options, pricing, phasing and segmentation.
  • Co-ordinate and lead regular Sales and Marketing team merchandise briefings, culminating in the ‘hand off’ of the collection at Sales Meetings.
  • Support the National and Key Account managers with customer merchandise reviews and store visits, providing insight into range architecture strategies and co-ordinating any ensuing range amendments with Design/Group Merchandising.
  • Support the Design team with feedback from customer reviews.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in retail/brand merchandising
  • Highly numeric and analytical
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Advanced Microsoft XL capabilities
  • Able to travel in UK and Internationally

Our client is a well known Accessories brand looking for an Account Manager with a proven track record in Regional Management. You will be responsible for growing the business and company profile in a designated region, through the designated account base.  

Main Duties:

  • Account management of Independent Retailers within a designated region. This involves working closely with Independent retailers, offering a full professional sales service with regular planned appointments to every account across the designated region.

  • Devise and implement account management strategies in line with company growth requirements.

  • Achieve all designated regional sales targets. (Reviewed annually in line with Company financial year).

  • Present Company Brands and negotiating at all levels in store to maximise sales potential within company guidelines.

  • To establish optimum company brand locations in-store to maximise sell through.

  • Ensure Store staff training and placing of Company Point of Sale material is fulfilled.

  • Organising and attending relevant stand alone trade shows for existing customer base, as and when necessary. This will involve some weekend work and time away from home.

  • Ensuring the distribution strategy is upheld whilst developing new business. This is a vital role to future business strategy.

Essential Skills:  

  • Strong interpersonal skills
