My client has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Make Up Technologist to join their innovative team. This is an amazing opportunity to join a fast paced, challenging, innovative working environment.

The Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Working alongside the Buying Departments and Suppliers to maintain and further improve all aspects of product, quality assurance and the development of products • Establishing Brand quality requirements
• Approving and analyzing testing
• Working with buying to seal product and evaluate production against standard
• Working with Buying to formulate and prepare new product
• Developing Supplier Base
• Evaluating and assessing factories’ capabilities in both quality, good manufacturing practice and CSR
• Finding new ways of improving existing technical processes
• Reviewing product quality and performance against the competition

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

• Can demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of cosmetics formulation
• Relevant product knowledge
• Good manufacturing knowledge
• Experience of quality assurance in a retail company
• Can identify and analyse problems and propose solutions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels
• The ability to work on their own initiative and thrive in a fast paced environment
