Production Coordinator

Our client is a key Menswear Footwear Supplier to the High Street looking for an organised individual to join a successful business.
Responsibilities:

Liaising with customers and suppliers, in order to meet all target dates outlined in the critical path for each style ordered.

Working with customers to follow up inquiries and schedule deliveries.

Working with suppliers and customers to schedule deliveries and to resolve any issues.

Dealing with orders receipts from customers. Processing and confirming orders.
-
Monitoring all shipments from the Far East.
-
Coordinating samples to ensure the product is sealed on time.
-
Ensuring sufficient sock levels in our warehouse to cover forward orders.
-
Raising and managing stock orders to suppliers when necessary.
-
Liaising with product managers and Salesmen on key accounts.

Preparing purchase orders.
-
Preparing and managing the stock take annually with internal auditors.
-
Supporting and assist the Product Managers and Salesmen on all aspects of the business.

Maintaining accurate and up to date records (in Excel spreadsheet form) for each contract.
-
Communicating orders and customer related issues such as delayed delivery orders or payments to the salesmen.

Product Managers to authorise samples and shipments to be processed.
-
Preparing and submitting reports to the Product Managers (expected sales for the month, expected invoicing, projections for the quarter and stock reports).
Filing, archiving and maintaining all records. -
Carrying out any other duties as required on an ad hoc basis.
Suitable candidates must have previous experience in working within a similar environment and with UK clients.
