Key Accounts / Sales Coordinator

A leading lifestyle brand in Orange County is looking for 

Summary:

The Sales Support team is looking to add a critical new role of Key Account Coordinator to support our fast-growing company. This position is a great way to prepare individuals interested in pursuing a career in sales in the future.

The Key Account Coordinator will create relationships with internal customers to increase sales levels. In addition, The Key Account Coordinator will be responsible for customer satisfaction and meeting the requirements of assigned key account(s) at every possible operations contact point, while identifying opportunities to increase sales and/or profits.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with the marketing team to increase sales through new product development/execution and presentations.

  • Develop meaningful personal relationships with key account contacts and assigned sales representatives to ensure they look to the Sales Support team as a primary source of communication and looped in on all key account activities.

  • Gain an intimate knowledge of assigned customer(s) requirements and perform tasks related to new product set up, testing, labeling, shipment, customer website maintenance, reporting, etc. to ensure compliance and ultimately the highest level of customer satisfaction.

  • Analyze customer forecasts, open orders and scheduled production and take proactive measures to ensure timely product availability.

  • Create reports as needed to analyze YOY results, current selling trends, promotional lifts and lost opportunities for each key account.

  • Communicate regularly with customer-specific support teams on any new customer milestones or potential issues.

  • Utilize market data to assist in the development and/or execution of sales strategies in conjunction with sales representatives.

Qualifications/Minimum Requirements:

  • College degree in business, marketing or related field; or equivalent experience

  • Excellent communication skills

  • High degree of proficiency with Microsoft and ERP system(s)

  • Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize in a fast paced environment

  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, pleasant, positive customer-centric attitude
