Job description

Our client, a boutique creative agency has an immediate need for a Social Media Coordinator to support campaigns across various film, television, and entertainment brands. This is a temp to hire or direct hire opportunity for the right candidate that is hybrid onsite in the LA area.

+ WHAT YOU’VE GOT
2-3 years of experience publishing for and managing social channels and editorial calendars, or comparable experience.
The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced creative environment.
The capacity to flex with changing needs while maintaining extreme attention to detail and organization.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build fruitful working relationships.
Strong emotional intelligence and resilience, with a desire for personal growth. Familiarity with social media analytics tools to track performance and inform strategy.
A natural passion for film, television, and social media, with an interest in ongoing cultural trends.
Creative agency experience and/or social copywriting experience are a plus.

+ WHAT YOU’LL DO ACCOUNT/PROJECT COORDINATION
Support the campaign lead in asset management and the organization of digital creative campaigns and content calendars.
Organize and relay feedback, call notes, and internal/external action items to keep jobs streamlined, efficient, and moving forward.
Act as partner and point of contact for client(s) in the execution of campaigns. Create and maintain content calendars, ensuring timely creative deliveries. Attend events, shoots, and junkets as needed to support content capture and social execution.
COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT Publish social creative and fan engagement with concise attention to detail.
Vet opportunities for impactful community management, with copywriting for social content as needed.
Actively monitor content performance, sharing weekly reports/insights with the team to help drive creative strategy.
Monitor and audit talent and competitor channels to maintain a steady pulse on relevant social opportunities.
CREATIVE STRATEGY SUPPORT Collaborate as a creative thought partner with our Social/Digital team, as well as an active thought leader with clients on assigned projects.
Attend and participate in creative brainstorms; support creative research, script coverage, ideation as needed. Ideate around content and creative concepts, with a robust understanding of what’s trending in the cultural landscape tonally and thematically.
Present pitch decks in tandem with the team.
